EIFFEL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS

The EIFFEL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2021 is offered by the French Government through the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs for international students (including from Indonesia) to continue their Masters and PhD studies at universities in France.

The fields of study offered in the Eiffel Scholarship are as follows:

  • Law
  • Economics and Management
  • Engineering (S2 level) / Science in a wider scope (PhD level). Engineering disciplines such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, the Life Sciences, Nano-and Biotechnology, Earth Sciences, Space Sciences, Environmental Sciences, and Information and Communication Sciences and Technologies
  • Political science

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Not a citizen or dual national with France.
  • Maximum age of 25 years for Master program applicants (born after March 1995) or maximum 30 years for PhD program applicants (born after March 1990) in 2020.
  • Applications for scholarships are not submitted alone but are submitted by French higher education institutions that have approved your application for study. Applicants proposed by more than one college will not be considered in the scholarship selection.
  • Scholarships are intended for students who wish to apply for a Masters program, Technical School, or for Doctoral students who will conduct research in France as part of a joint-doctoral program.
  • Applicants who have been awarded a French Government scholarship from another scholarship program cannot apply for the Eiffel scholarship.
  • For Master program applicants: Applicants who have previously been rejected during the French Government scholarship selection process, cannot take part in the Eiffel scholarship (despite applying for a different field of study). In addition, applicants who have previously received the Eiffel Scholarship at the Masters level also cannot participate in this scholarship for the same level.
  • For PhD applicants: Educational institutions in France are allowed to nominate candidates who have previously been awarded a Masters-level scholarship to apply for the Eiffel PhD-level scholarship.
  • Meet the language proficiency requirements required by the chosen French study program and university.

HOW TO REGISTER:

To apply for the Eiffel Scholarship, the application is not submitted by the applicant himself, but by the intended French higher education institution. Applicants can register in advance at the chosen university and study program (information on university choices can be found at the following link: www.campusfrance.org/en). Follow the registration steps for the study program you want to go to (usually can be seen on the official website of the intended campus).
