Office of International Cooperation (OIC) UNAS proposing a collaboration between UNAS and Waseda University, Japan. It is a research collaboration on automated scattered waste management in Asia region, and will be carried out by the students and faculty members of Faculty of Communication Technology and Informatics (FTKI) UNAS.
The innitial meeting was taken place online through zoom platform on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, and attended, on UNAS side, by the Director of OIC, Panca Dewi Pamungkasari, Ph.D, a faculty member of FTKI, Triandi Muhammad Hafiz and Muhammad Zakky Alfiansyah, two of students of FTKI, who will be in charge for the project. And for Waseda University side was attended by Andante Hadi Pandyswargo, Ph.D. She is an Indonesian diaspora scholar and Associate Professor at Waseda University, Japan. Her academic interests focus on the intersection of technology, society, and sustainability, particularly Social Aspects of Smart Technologies, Renewable Energy, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Her work contributes to sustainable technological development and strengthens academic collaboration between Indonesia and Japan.
The project is funded by KAKENHI. It is a grant for scientific research managed by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport, Science, and Technology (MEXT), Japan, and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).
