Undergraduate Scholarship at Boston University, USA

There is one undergraduate scholarship at Boston University which is open to international applicants. Trustee Scholarship . This scholarship is fully covered by tuition fees and other mandatory costs that must be incurred while studying at Boston University, USA. The Trustee Scholarship is an outstanding scholarship targeting international candidates who have outstanding academic achievements and have good leadership qualities.

Trustee Scholarship recipients can extend the scholarship for up to four years and are open to all majors in the undergraduate program at Boston University. Every year around 20 scholarship quotas are provided for international candidates who meet the criteria. Many of the scholarship recipients are high school graduates with excellent grades and usually rank in the top 5 – 10 percent of students in the class.

2. Have perspective, intellectual and creative courage, as well as extraordinary experiences and achievements
3. Be unique to the campus community that offers various intellectual, cultural, and social opportunities

Application documents:
1. Essay (maximum 600 words)
2. SAT or ACT Plus Writing
results 3. TOEFL or IELTS results (minimum TOEFL iBT 90, minimum IELTS 7.0)

Registration:
Write an essay of 600 words or less by answering the questions provided below (choose one). Essay questions quoted from the Boston University website (www.bu.edu):
1. The Trustee Scholars at Boston University form a diverse and inclusive community of students. Please tell us about a time where you proactively advocated for, or experienced, inclusivity in your school or community. What did you learn and how would you put that into practice at Boston University?

2. Howard Thurman, who was the dean of BU’s Marsh Chapel from 1953-1965, once wrote: “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” Can you describe a particular experience you have had or an activity that you participate in that makes you come alive? How would you try to integrate that experience or activity into your time at BU?
