Universitas Nasional-Flinders University-University of Indonesia conducted public lecture in UNAS and FGD in UNAS and UI from September 30-October 2, 2016. The public lecture and FGD was led by Prof. Janet McIntyre from Flinders Institute for Public Policy and Management and School of International Studies and Politics. Prof. McIntyre is also an honorary professor in University of South Africa and Adjuct Professor in UI and UIN.
The cooperation with Flinders University began in 2015, when UNAS hosted the international conference on Pathway to Well-being and FGD with Prof. Bambang Shergi from UI, Dr. Ida Widianingsih from UNPAD, and Dr. Adib Mohamad Abdusomad from UIN Jakarta.
The public lecture on Living virtuously and well: towards stewardship of people and the planet, conducted on September 30, 2016, in UNAS was attended by the graduate students and faculties from the School of Graduate Studies UNAS. Following the event, UNAS and Flinders signed a Letter of Intent to implement the Cotutelle program for Ph.D students in politics in UNAS.
Hosted by the Head of Social Welfare Department UI, Prof. Bambang Shergi Laksono, the FGD on the similar topic between UNAS-Flinders-UI was set on October 1, 2016 and on October 2, 2016 in the Sociology Study Program in UNAS.
