On Tuesday, July 26, 2022, the Dean of the Faculty of Languages ​​and Literature, Dr. Somadi Sosrohadi with M.A. Inez Saptenno, M.Li , Head Division of  International Cooperation of UNAS met Prof. Kim Soo Il, Director of the Korea-Indonesia Global Cooperation Center at UNAS and Prof. Kang Kyung Tae, Prof. International Relations at Silla University, UNAS cooperation partner, as well as Director of Recruitment of Indonesian Workers for Hyundai Heavy Industries.

UNAS and Silla University have collaborated since 2016 and UNAS has sent D3 Korean Language alumni to continue their studies to achieve a bachelor’s degree there. The meeting with UNAS Korean Language undergraduate students also opened the opportunity to strengthen sending students to take credit and exchange lecturers and researchers. The meeting continued with the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Science (FTS), Dr. Novi Azman accompanied by Dr. Vekky Reppi, and Endang Retno Nugroho, M.Si for the recruitment of FTS graduates to work on LNG ships at Hyundai Heavy Industries Korea with a bachelor’s degree qualification, 2 years experience, and a special certificate for welding. For other works, such as painting and wiring, the requirement is also for those who have  experience in the field. Basic Korean and conversational English skills are required.
