The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek) has launched Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka 2021 through eight programs, one of which is the  Certified Internship.

Internship Program is open to all students of all majors S1 in College State (PTN) and Private Universities (PTS), which is listed on PDDikti.

Internship activities for 1 semester can be equivalent to 20 credits. This amount is expressed in the form of competencies obtained by students during the internship program, both in hard skills and soft skills in accordance with the desired learning outcomes. Meanwhile, for the vocational student internship program, LPDP provides a budget to facilitate these activities. Vocational students will receive salaries for internships ranging from a maximum of IDR 4 million. However, the salary varies and is adjusted to the workload provided by the company to the student.
