Program Information

Universitas Nasional provides Short Courses on a series of contemporary Indonesian issues, such as Indonesian politics and public policies, conservation, language, and culture. Students are challenged to discuss their views and gain new insights with lecturers, researchers, and professors knowledgeable about the issues.  This program allows students to digest to the most recent issues in Indonesia and to let them explore how the issue shall influence global changes toward betterment of humanity. It is an opportunity for you to benefit an exciting three-week short course on the recent interesting topics along with cultural experience program.

•    Issues on Indonesian politics and public policies
•    Indonesian conservation
•    Indonesian language
•    Indonesian culture
•    Excursion and Field Trip Programs
•    Corporate Social Responsibility

Through these short courses, students can:
1.
Explore topics in-class lecture and discussion.
2. Learn Bahasa Indonesia by experienced Bahasa Indonesia for foreign learners’ instructors.
3. Learn Indonesian indigenous culture, such as ethnicity, music, dance, food, archicture with experienced instructors
4.
Explore conservation in and around Jakarta and Indonesia.
5. Participate in corporate social responsibility and know how well-known companies implement CSR activities.
6. Explore art and culture attraction in Jakarta and the city’s historical icons.
Aplication Requirement
1. Completing application Application form Required documents
2. Receiving a letter of Invitation
3. Applying for Socio-Cultural Visa at the Embassy of Indonesia
4. Submitting application Sent to International Cooperation of UNAS by Email
5. Submitting payment receipt by email to International Cooperation
6. Notifying arrival date to International Cooperation UNAS
7. Receiving program confirmation from International Cooperation
8. Paying for program fee
9. Arriving in Jakarta Participating in the program
Program fee

Program fee is USD 2,500/person. It is non-refundable and a copy of payment receipt must be submitted on May or September every year, after receiving Program Confirmation from International Office. Program fee is paid by money transfer to the following bank account:

Fee includes:
•    3-week course & course material
•    Airport pick-up & drop off 
•    Accommodation (twin sharing) at Wisma Sawo Manila
•    Breakfast, Coffee Break and Lunch for every weekday class
•    Field Trips activities and excursion

•    Program Certificate
•    Welcome Dinner and Closing Event
Fee Excludes:

•    Flight Tickets (to and from Jakarta before and after the course)
•    Visa and other immigration fee( if any), airport tax
•    Personal expenses, such as, laundry, entertainment, phone
•    Dinner
•    Medical & Travel Insurance (travel insurance together with flight ticket purchase is recommended)
